Ytterbium Periodic Element Tile – Small

99.9% Pure Ytterbium element sample in a PEGUYS periodic element tile, custom made for you. Each tile comes with a JMOL color coded label on the reverse displaying all the essential periodic element information. (Atomic Number, Element Symbol, and Atomic Mass). We have produced an entire range of elements in different mediums protected in our unique airtight acrylic tiles.

The size of these tiles is 22mm x 15mm (0.866″ x 0.6″)

The most accurate clocks in the world are made with Ytterbium, such as those used by the National institute of standards and technology . It is also used in some portable X-ray machines. Handle it with care though because its dust can spontaneously erupt in flames and the fumes from this are dangerous too.
