About the Product: Roulaison’s Barrel Aged Reserve is left to mature for over three year’s time in casks which have originally held bourbon, rye, and wheat whiskies. The rum is placed into casks at the pre-prohibition maximum of 110 proof to extract less bitter oak tannin and to mature with much more complexity. This Single Barrel is singular expression of Roulaison’s Reserve Rum, accenting and elevating the distinctive qualities of both unique and exemplary barrels. Encapsulating Roulaison’s more novel production methods or more limited barrel types, no two releases will be exactly the same.
Roulaison’s Rums are made without carbon or chill filtration and without added coloring, flavoring, or blending materials.
